Incredibly strong Neodymium Rare Earth magnets, these are top quality super-strong magnets.

Our medium size magnets measure 10mm across x 2mm high and they can each hold an incredible 1.2kg (over 2.6lbs!).  These self adhesive type come with a strong 3M self-adhesive backing that will stick to most surfaces - to apply, ensure the area they are to be attached to is clean, dry and free from dust. Peel back the adhesive backing, press hard sticker-side-down onto your chosen surface, and your magnet's ready! 

You can choose whether to buy these magnets singly or benefit from much lower prices for a pack of 10 or a pack of 100 magnets.

Now for the serious stuff - safety considerations:
* Strong magnets, especially neodymium magnets should not be given to children
* Strong Magnets may affect or interfere with sensitive electronic instruments. Always keep magnets at least 100mm from such devices
* Magnets can destroy information stored on magnetic media such as credit cards, floppy discs and computer hard drives. Keep them at least 50mm away
* Analogue watches, televisions and computer monitors can be permanently damaged by placing magnets near them
* Do not use magnets in explosive atmospheres * Do not use magnets if you are pregnant
* Do not use magnets if you use an insulin pump, or have a pacemaker or surgical pins etc. fitted.
* Use with care if you suffer from Nickel allergy These magnets are made of Neodymium-Iron-Boron and contain approximately 75% iron which makes them prone to corrosion. A protective coating has been applied to these magnets, effectively a triple coating of Nickel-Copper-Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni).

Please note the price of rare earth metals has recently increased by 100% - we have tried to minimise the impact of this increase by not putting our prices up by the same percentage, however we could not continue to sell them at the same price as before. We will follow the situation on the cost of these raw materials and if they go down again, we will endeavour to do the same with our prices.

An important note regarding the self-adhesive magnets – if you stick one magnet on a metal surface you will be able to pull it off and stick it back on innumerable times with no great effect to the sticker, however if you stack up your magnets all in a column, the magnetic pull of several magnets together can be too much for the sticker, so just something to remember when you are packaging up your finished magnets – side by side is fine, but if you stack them up, you may find that one little sticker doesn’t stand a chance next to the accumulated strength of several of these already-strong magnets (and this is why they don’t make sticker backed magnets in big sizes, because the magnet would always win over the sticker – nerdy fact of the day courtesy of Jasmin Studio Crafts!)
