Super useful item for your bag of jewellery making tricks! These fab silver finish earstud blanks are sold in packs of 10 pairs and come with matching butterfly backs. They can be either silver plated or steely silver tone, if you have a preference, please let us know and we will try to give you the colour you prefer. They are lead and nickel free and feature a pad measuring 8mm for you to glue on your choice of item.
We had fun coming up with some ideas (bear with us, we did get a bit carried away at one point): - use some of the more fancy glass shapes such as little hearts, teardrops and stars - small flatback gemstones - polymer clay mini-sculptures - polymer clay cane slices - shrink plastic cut outs using photos, vintage images or kids' drawings, seal them well! - buttons, either ready made or look at our fabric button making kit so you can make your own - game pieces: try scrabble tiles or other more unusual moulded pieces - tiny toys (Christmas cracker penny toys, playmobile/lego/barbie/anything-in-my-pocket pieces, - dollshouse items (we've seen some adorable cups and saucers and plates of yummy looking food in both 1:12 and 1:24 scale that would be fab here) - objects found in nature - try tiny rounds of sawn branches, unusual seedpods (you should varnish these well), small fancy pebbles - metal cogs, small nuts and bolts - felted balls - cut outs of sheet felt (try layering different colours) - make your own teeny organza flowers The choice is endless!
